What was needed.
TLH Auctioneers approached us after building their current website to provide a more integrated solution. The existing website was used as a brochure / billboard website to advertise their latest weekly auctions. customers had to leave the site and click through to iBidder, a third party website that manages and handles their auctions. TLH Auctioneers wished for a better customer experience and as this was something iBidder had been developing also, a solution arose allowing us to do this.
What we did.
GAP, the developers of the Global Auction Platform developed an API that allowed us to directly interface with the auction data and pull it into our own website. Keeping with the current design and brand we had already created, we built a bespoke content management system for this web application, allowing direct import from the GAP system. It allowed us to still display the auctions in an organised and stylish fashion, whilst bringing the whole bidding experience inline.
featured auction listings still allow for appealing visual design.
Direct integration with the iBidder platform, allowing the user to bid without leaving the site, thus protecting the brand.
A gallery section on a single auction listing page, Feels like a conveyor belt, if you like that generation game fun.
